This scanner has plenty of gobos, and the optics are good for a budget fixture. The light can be focussed by rotating the lens holder to provide the best output.

The entire unit is forced fan cooled, and unlike many cheaper 'budget' fixtures, it has no problem running for hours on end without overheating, there is no duty cycle to worry about. Gobos and colours snap fairly quickly, and by pushing the faders on the control desk right up, you can get the unit to scroll through all the colours/gobos on the wheel.

Pan/tilt angles should be good enough for the majority of applications, as with any scanner you are limited due to the mirror support and body of the unit. The 250w lamp is a halogen (you wouldn't really expect discharge on a fixture of this price) and is plenty bright enough for disco use or small shows.
