Comfortable, stylish, and all together - a great package in my opinion. Before now, my thoughts about headphones were minimal, I thought headphones are headphones, and there can't be much difference. I was wrong. I had never really looked into getting a decent pair of headphones, so when I thought of doing so, I was surprised by the difference in what is offered and the varying prices alongside them.

I wanted something that would last with me for a decent time, and I could trust that they wouldn't fall apart within two hours of using them. It seems that what I wanted, I have got, for a smaller price than I expected.

The price? £50. I wasn't prepared to spend considerably more so on my first pair of headphones that were way into double figures.

I certainly fell in love with my headphones, if you can fall in love with audio equipment, I'm not quite sure. As I was used to rather cheap headphones, the sound quality was a great step-up and with a 3m cable, it was perfect to walking around my bedroom with them on without the stereo system falling off its table, which was always fun. I even found myself wearing the headphones when I wasn't listening to anything, purely because they were so comfy. So I have realised that these headphones have a double purpose, obviously the audio reason and also as ear muffs. I could wear them for hours, a factor needed for djing for hours at a time.

The sound reproduction is very well balanced, making listening to music and other audio through the headphones sound as it should do, which sometimes isn't the case with previous headphones I have used. The treble is excellent and raising the bass sounds perfect and there is only a very small level of distortion, perfect for dance tracks.

The headphones are perfect for home use and also do the job with portable audio systems such as portable radios and portable CD players.

One issue that I found was that the minijack can cause a problem at times, depending on what angle it is put in, you may get some problems with the audio. This may mean that the sound is unbalanced, you may get unclear audio etc. The way to solve this is to twist the minijack to a different angle till the sound is right, a small problem but a problem all the same.

The cheap price of £50 is great for buyers who want a decent, starting off pair of headphones like myself who may be on a tight budget.

Sennheiser have a good reputation for making very good products, and this product only improves that reputation. I am very impressed with the headphones and will certainly be buying from Sennheiser again at some point in the future.

Finally, if you fit into the category of a starting off DJ or just someone who would like a pair of comfortable and reliable pair of headphones for uses such as travelling or just at home, this is the perfect pair of headphones for you. I am impressed with this product and I am sure you will be too.
