Can cheap and reliable ever be used in the same sentence?? These headphones claim to be cheap but are they actually any good?

I bought these headphones because my other more expensive headphones unfortunately broke due to the stresses of working on the road. So I figured what the heck they were only £20 and if they broke within a few weeks they would still be worth the money.

On first inspection the headphones resembled a set of more expensive headphones having all of the features usually reserved for the £100+ pairs of headphones. A nice long cable so you can actually check your cd collection with your headphones on.

The actual headphones are very comfortable which makes these headphones a please to wear and use in a live environment. The headband is also relatively comfortable; they are padded making these headphones comfortable for long periods of time. This is the one thing I always look for when buying headphones, the sound may be mind blowing but if they are not comfortable there is no reason to use them. I would usually sacrifice quality of sound for comfort; I usually look to find a happy medium of comfort and quality.

These headphones actually sound very good for the price and sound as good if not better than some of the more expensive headphones on the market. Some of the sound was not as crisp as I wanted it to be, but they are only for monitoring / PFL so this doesn't really matter. If you wanted some headphones for use in a live environment where being able to hear the exact sound produced is the top priority then I would not recommend these headphones. For the beginner DJ however looking for cheap and reliable kit I would defiantly recommend these headphones.

So far I have only had one problem with these headphones, the left side just stopped working. After opening them up I found that it was just a loose joint and after a bit of re-soldering they worked perfectly again. Do not however let this fact put you off all of the Behringer kit that I have used before has be problem free and a pleasure to use.
