At the forthcoming Pro Light + Sound show in Frankfurt, Rental Management Systems (RMS) will show a preview of its latest version, codenamed RMSNET.

This new version has been build from the ground up, using the latest techniques. RMSNET has become even faster, easier to use and provides users with new ways to be productive.

RMSNET uses an entirely new technique to handle the data. This technique allows users to either use the native RMS-dataformat, or use an SQL-database. The SQL-database is the most powerful and secure database available, and is capable of handling enormous amounts of data.

With RMSNET, users can connect from anywhere in the world to their data, using a standard internet-connection. Where other programs use (expensive) external programs like Citrix or Terminal Server, RMSNET provides direct, fast access to the database via the internet, without any extra costs.

The new Project Wrapper is used to place all jobs, sub-hires, crew and transport under one 'umbrella'. Budgets and cost-analysis give the user a detailed view of all proceeds and costs of a project.

And as of now, RMS is also available through a lease-option. This allows companies to use the fastest rental planning- and calculation-software at mimimal costs. Monthly rates include full support and free upgrades to all minor and major versions. The monthly rate is based on the number of concurrent users of RMS.

With over 2000 users world-wide, RMS is the preferred software for professional rental companies. The software is available in nine languages, including Dutch, English, German, French and Spanish. RMS will be in Frankfurt at hall 8.0, stand A73.
