HD Pro Audio will be exhibiting at ABTT again this year, showing the latest developments from a selection of the manufacturers it represents and distributes, including Optocore, Ateis, Digidesign, Yamaha and Timax.

Optocore, the fibre optic networking pioneers, continue from strength to strength in 2009. HD Pro Audio will be showing their new X6R converters, which include the option for dual preamps on the inputs and allow for independent gain control by two users. HD will also have details on the ever-expanding list of digital console manufacturers that can control Optocore preamps directly from their consoles, enhancing Optocore's position as an open networking protocol.

Well-established in the rest of Europe, but still relatively new to the UK, Ateis has built its reputation on a range of innovative products for PA and Voice Alarm applications. HD Pro Audio particularly see enormous potential for Ateis' new UAPG2 DSP processor and Terracom TCP/IP paging system in theatrical and AV systems. The Messenger2 steerable line-array loudspeakers include the option for networking via M-Net or Ateis-Net, allowing for much greater flexibility in system design and installation.

Also on show will be the Venue SC48 console, Digidesign's latest addition to the Venue family. It combines 48 inputs and up to 32 outputs in a single compact console, along with Digidesign's TDM plug-ins, Pro Tools LE interfacing and outstanding sonic quality.

Continually pushing the boundaries of digital technology but with rock-solid reliability, Yamaha has the capability to network with a range of protocols including Optocore and Ethersound. A combination of the LS9 console with the new SB168-ES stagebox allows for the creation of a simple yet cost-effective digital multicore via Ethersound.

Timax is building on its established delay matrix systems for dynamic audio image localisation with the new TiMax2 Soundhub, which takes the technology to a new level. In its Soundhub-S format, the TiMax2 control software provides sound designers with an advanced real-time audio show-control machine for running live shows and events. The Soundhub-R version gives system integrators and contractors a comprehensive set of audio routing, mixing, processing and playback resources with versatile remote control options. Meanwhile, the TiMax Tracker real-time location system tracks the actors and performers around a stage or any event space in 3D, to make the audio image from the actors' radio mics precisely track their stage positions in real-time.

HD Pro Audio is exhibiting on Stand 84 in the Lawrence Hall, where sales and support staff will be available to welcome visitors.
