Bandit Lites recently participated at the 31st Annual PLASA Show, which took place in central London from September 7-10, 2008. The international event delivers the latest new technology, hundreds of new product launches, unrivalled networking opportunities and an acclaimed educational program.
In celebration of the company’s 40th Anniversary, Bandit Lites unveiled a new layout to their famous Guinness booth featuring a semi circular bar with new tables and bar stools. The booth also displayed a 40th Anniversary banner and beer mats. Over 4,000 pints of Guinness was served over the 4-day event.
“This year we didn’t add any lighting fixtures to our stand because we wanted it to be a complete contrast from all of the bells and whistles you get at most other stands,” Bandit UK Chief Executive, Lester Cobrin commented. “The idea behind it is to provide our colleagues and clients with a calming and inviting place where they can relax and catch up with old friends.”
A tribute to Bandit Lites’ first forty years is featured in the September issue of Total Production International and was distributed at the event.
“I received plenty of feedback from people who really enjoyed reading the Bandit history article, saying how interesting it was, as most people said they really didn’t realize how old the company was,” Cobrin added.
Bandit Vice President, Richard Willis attended the event. Bandit UK Chief Executive, Lester Cobrin and the majority the Bandit UK staff were also in attendance. |
